The Four Preps at the Casino in Avalon. August 23, 2013 6:00PM to 8:00PM Enjoy a magical evening of everything from Doo-Wop to pop standards with the Four Preps, singing their enchanting 26 Miles Across the Sea in the legendary Avalon Theatre. The Four Preps will appear in concert as a benefit for the Rotary Club of Avalon in the Casino Building’s Avalon Theatre on Friday, August 23rd from 6pm to 8pm. Tickets start at $25 per person.

The 2013 Catalina Island Museum Fourth of July Music Festival takes place at The Point, immediately adjacent to the Avalon Casino, one of the most picturesque locations on Santa Catalina Island. The festival highlights a diverse line up of local musicians, spectacular fireworks and great barbecue fare provided by Steve's Steakhouse and the Santa Catalina Island Company. Beer, wine and other refreshments will also be available for purchase. From rock to reggae, the music festival will showcase five local bands: the Catalina Island All-Stars, IPA, Hot Off the Range, Something and Fighting Chance.
Bring your beach chair and some friends to the South Beach Lifeguard stand every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:00pm. Bingo cards are $1 each and participants can win fun local prizes.
